Priorities for 2006 to 2009

Taking seriously the work of Christ in today's world.
  1. Be inspired worshippers
  2. Be confident evangelists
  3. Be faithful followers of Jesus
  4. Be committed to personal development
  5. Make a positive contribution
Priority 1 means that we need to develop styles that enable people to express their worship to God in a meaningful way every week.

Priority 2 seeks to find ways of increasing people's confidence, so they can share their faith with others in a natural way.

Priority 3 is to encourage people to develop and communicate effectively the vision of the church, so that every person feels that they have had opportunities to contribute to it and own it.

Priority 4 should enable people to grow in their Christian faith. We need to have many more "mature" Christians. Like Paul the apostle the more they `grow` the more they see the sinfulness of their own lives.

Priority 5 should encourage and enable  everyone to discover their God-given gifts and to learn how to use them in the service of the community and church.
