Outlook

Outlook is a Sunday afternoon meeting aimed at the over 55s, although there is no age limit.

There is an informal Sunday service lasting 45 minutes, followed by the best afternoon tea in town.

Charis

Charis is a meeting which aims to meet the needs of the over 55s. It is held on the second Tuesday of each month (with the exception of August) and begins at 1pm with a hot lunch.

Thursday Fellowship

This meets in the Lower Hall on a Thursday at 2.15 pm. A wide range of speaker share something of themselves and their faith.

Holiday @ Home

Holiday @ Home is an iniative that takes place for 3 days in August for people who would not otherwise be able to get away for a holiday. Every day there is lunch served, there are a variety of enjoyable activities to take part in, and on the Wednesday there is an outing.

In 2008, Holiday @ Home took place from 5th to 7th August. During the 3 days, people took part in chair aerobics, arts and crafts, flower arranging, playing music with handbells, table tennis, board games, and listening to a variety of interesting and relevant talks. On the Wednesday they went on an outing to Colchester Castle. See below for a selection of photographs.
