Social Action

Monday Club and Victoria Club

Two clubs for people with mental health problems. They provide a place to meet, talk, relax and find help and encouragement to deal with everyday life. There are opportunities to get involved in board games, table tennis, flower arranging, social events and outings. Admission by referral only.
Monday Club every Monday, 13:30 to 16:00
Victoria Club every Wednesday, 10:00 to 16:00
 

ProAct

ProAct Community Resource centre has been set up primarily to provide support to people who have difficulty accessing key public services (employment, housing, education, etc) either through lack of awareness, knowledge or confidence.

Surgeries are held on the last Saturday of each month from 2.00pm - 4.00pm at the Church

ProAct have received charitable status from the Charities Commission

Child Contact Centre

The Child Contact Centre provides a place for children to spend time with non-resident parents or other family members until contact on a long-term basis can be established.
The centre is open on alternative Saturdays from 10.30am - 12.30pm. Admission by referral only.
