Mission

Bible Society

The aim of Bible Society is to make the bible heard today.

The launch of 8:32 in 2006 is a call to wake people up to the Bible poverty in today's world. It talks about the following facts....

  • A billion people throughout the world can't read, but only 3% of languages have the Bible in audio.
  • Every five seconds someone goes blind, but the Bible on Braille exists in only 30 languages
  • For a billion people the Bible is a luxury they can't afford.
  • We're still waiting for even one book of the Bible in more than half the world's languages.
